Virginia Military over Radford 101-88

RADFORD, Va. (AP) — Rodney Glasgow scored a career-high 36 points to lead VMI to a 101-88 victory over Radford Wednesday night.

Glasgow was nearly perfect, hitting 13 of 16 from the field and sinking 10 of 10 from the line. He also had five assists and two steals.

D.J. Covington had 28 points and 11 rebounds for the Keydets (9-7, 2-1 Big South). Starting freshman QJ Peterson added 20 points.

The Keydets led by three at halftime but lost the advantage early in the second period before Glasgow hit from inside the paint, from distance, and from the line for a total of eight points within 2 minutes to put them back up 63-57. Peterson and Brian Brown hit back to back 3-pointers to extend the VMI lead to 15 with 6 minutes to play.

Javonte Green had 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Highlanders (12-6, 2-1).
