ANTHOLZ-ANTERSELVA, Italy (AP) — Biathlon World Cup leader Martin Fourcade led France to its first relay victory of the season on Sunday.

In the final meet before the Sochi Olympics, the French team of brothers Martin and Simon Fourcade along with Alexis Boeuf and Jean-Guillaum Beatrix crossed the line in 1 hour, 14 minutes and 34.1 seconds.

Sweden was second, 2.6 seconds slower, with Germany taking bronze after finishing 38.8 seconds behind France in the 4×7.5-kilometer event.

Martin Fourcade and Sweden’s Carl Johan Bergman had reached the last shooting range level but the Frenchman shot quicker before charging to victory.

The women’s race was cancelled after heavy fog descended during the second leg. The fog also delayed the start of the men’s event.
