The Vietnamese Community of Clark County is inviting the public to its annual Lunar New Year Festival on Saturday, Feb. 8.

The celebration is at 1 p.m. at Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School, 2921 Falk Road.

The free festival includes live music, performances from local and professional artists, traditional dances, children’s activities and Vietnamese food.

“The purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity for the Vietnamese Americans in Clark County to celebrate cultural heritage and to share the Vietnamese culture with the community at large,” Minh Pham, president of the Vietnamese Community of Clark County, said in a news release.

The Lunar New Year Festival is the group’s biggest cultural event of the year.
