If Gov. Jay Inslee has the final decision for oil trains running through Vancouver, he needs to be invited to take a ride from I-5, along state Highway 14 to Camas, and then back along Evergreen Highway. Not only the density of population along the tracks is of concern, but the proximity to the Columbia River should raise huge red flags for allowing oil trains to traverse this route.
He cannot make an objective decision without such a tour. Let’s invite him for lunch and a tour of the tracks. I will pay for his lunch.
