MILWAUKEE (AP) — Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun doesn’t think he can ever stop apologizing, though he’s also ready for a new chapter in his baseball career.

It’s been a unique offseason for Braun, the 2011 NL MVP trying to make amends with fans and teammates following his 65-game suspension last year for violating Major League Baseball’s anti-drug agreement.

Braun was making his first major public appearance Sunday at a team offseason fan event since his suspension last year. He said that he’s trying to move forward while continuing to be apologetic.

It’s been an offseason of change. Braun got married. He’s also preparing a move from left to right field, a switch he says he’s welcoming.

Braun says he’s reached out to every Brewers suite holder and many season ticket holders.
