EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) — D.J. Balentine scored 24 points, half that amount on 12-for-12 shooting from the free throw line, as Evansville made a 10-point halftime lead stand up for a 66-60 win over Bradley Sunday.

The loss continued Bradley’s road woes after winning a pair of conference games at home — including a 69-65 over Northern Iowa to avenge a 34-point loss. The Braves now have lost nine straight games away from home, 12 straight Missouri Valley Conference games on the road and is 2-31 on the road in conference games since knocking off the Purple Aces in Evansville Feb. 6, 2010.

Egidijus Mockevicius scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds for Evansville (10-11, 3-5 Missouri Valley Conference), including three of the team’s seven offensive rebounds.

Walt Lemon Jr. led Bradley (8-13, 3-5) with 14 points. Tyshon Pickett added 13 points and Auston Barnes and Omari Grier contributed 11 and 10 points, respectively.
