Letter: County voted no on marijuana

The Columbian
Published: January 25, 2014, 4:00pm

In his Jan. 22 letter, “Local moratoriums shortsighted,” Rory Bowman protested the moratorium on pot processing and mentioned that 93,000 Clark County voters helped pass Initiative 502.

How many Clark County voters disapproved of I-502? Because more Clark County people disapproved than approved, perhaps that is why local officials want to extend the moratorium, as they see it as protecting the majority of Clark County voters who do not want the measure in the first place.
