Boys basketball: Columbia River 68, Hudson’s Bay 61

Nathan Hawthorne was just too much for the Eagles to handle, scoring 25 points to lead Columbia River to its seventh league win in seven games.

Andrew Vickers added 12 points, Torey Jones scored 11 and Cody Wolf added 10 for the Chieftains, who trailed by two at halftime.

Tyler Barton led Bay with 21 points. DeWayne Whitley added 12.
