Two downtown Vancouver buildings that were formerly occupied by Pioneer Printing & Stationery have sold for $1.3 million to a pair of local real estate investors.

The side-by-side structures at 1307 and 1315 Columbia St. were sold by the Durkee family, which operated Pioneer Printing in the combined 12,160-square-foot spaces from 1944 until 2008, when the business shut down due to faltering sales.

Buyers of the two buildings are Steven Anderson and Sonny Kim, managers of S.K. Management Building LLC of Vancouver. Gordon Lewis and Bob Bernhardt, brokers with Vancouver-based Coldwell Banker Commercial Jenkins & Associates, represented both sellers and buyers in the transaction, which was recorded on Jan. 24.
