Pleasant Valley — Three students from Pleasant Valley will soon represent their schools at a state arts competition. Pleasant Valley Primary School fifth-grader Courtney Beyer, third-grader Lily Bennett and Pleasant Valley Middle School seventh-grader Veronica Burch were picked to compete in the event by the National PTA Reflections Program, which also has a local program that holds after-school workshops for kids. The students’ art was created under the theme, “Believe, Dream, Inspire.” Winners at the state level will move on to a national competition.
