Boys basketball: La Center 75, Castle Rock 59

A big fourth quarter carried the Wildcats to a needed Trico League triumph.

La Center outscored Castle Rock 23-10 in the fourth quarter to pull away.

Four players scored in double figures for the Wildcats, led by 21 points from backup point guard Chase Davison. Wyatt Aguirre and Matt Braaten each scored 12 points, and Brody Seter finished with 10.

The win moved La Center (13-5, 11-5) two games ahead of Castle Rock (9-9, 9-7) in the Trico League standings, keeping the Wildcats alone in third place. It was only the second win for La Center in its last six games.
