Vancouver — The closures of Fort Vancouver Way and Evergreen Boulevard for Friday’s Fourth of July events in Vancouver will put several C-Tran buses on detour routes.
Routes 25 (Fruit Valley/St. Johns), 32 (Hazel Dell) and 37 (Mill Plain) will all be affected by the detours, according to C-Tran. The changes will be in effect all day Friday, the agency said.
All other bus routes will operate on Sunday/holiday hours, according to C-Tran.
C-Tran will offer shuttle service from the Westfield Vancouver mall to the Independence Day at Fort Vancouver event on Friday. Buses will leave the mall every 15 minutes from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., according to C-Tran. They’ll begin returning passengers from the fort immediately after Friday’s fireworks display is over.
