RIDGEFIELD — WSU Clark County Extension’s Small Acreage Program invites participants to tour Cloud Nine Farm, a five-acre property in Ridgefield. The farm raises goats and chickens and grows vegetables, fruit and nuts.

The tour is noon to 2 p.m. July 27 at the farm, 15911 N.W. 41st Ave., Ridgefield.

Tour participants will learn about keeping goats and improving management practices and can share solutions that have worked on their property.

The tour will be led by the landowners/farmers and representatives of the Small Acreage Program. The program is co-sponsored by WSU Clark County Extension and Clark County Environmental Services Clean Water Program.

The tour is not recommended for children. Dogs will not be allowed.

In 2011 Cloud Nine Farm was recognized by WSU Clark County Extension as a model property for demonstrating stewardship by implementing practices to control runoff, manage manure and maintain healthy pastures.

Cost is $10 per person. For registration and details: www.brownpapertickets.com/event/752897.
