Felida — A convenience store in Northwest Vancouver sold a $1 million lottery ticket to a lucky dad on Father’s Day. The winning Scratch ticket was purchased for $20 at Quick Shop Minit Mart, 12604 N.W. 36th Ave. The winner, who was not identified, told Washington Lottery officials that he plans to invest the bulk of the money and also replace the roof of his church and spend some on his children. Unlike when they sell other types of winning jackpot lottery tickets, retailers do not receive a prize for selling winning Scratch tickets. Out of about 986,000 printed, there were only three $1 million tickets available in the Million Dollar Mega Multiplier game.
