The Vancouver area 12s will get a chance to soak in the Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl championship as the team’s 12 Tour makes a stop in Vancouver beginning Friday.

The Vince Lombardi Trophy is going to make an appearance at Big Al’s (16615 S.E. 18th St, off of 164th Ave.) from noon to 3 p.m. Friday. The event is free to the public and big crowds are expected.

Wide receivers Doug Baldwin and Phil Bates are tentatively scheduled to appear.

The trophy will then move to LeRoy Haagen Memorial Park (N.E. 9th St., west of N.E. 136th Ave.) for Friday Night Movies in the Park.

Activities at the park begin at 6 p.m. with a visit from the Sea Gals cheerleaders, Blue Thunder drumline and Blitz the mascot.

There will be activities for kids as well as photo and autograph opportunities.

Seahawks players are not scheduled to attend the movie night event.

The evening wraps up with a free showing of the movie “Up” at sundown.

The Seahawks 2013 season recap video will be shown prior to the movie “Up.”

The 12 Tour wraps up on Saturday with the Seahawks Play 60 Family Fest at Doc Harris Stadium in Camas from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This event is free, but requires online registration by going to www.seahawks.com/community/South-12-Tour.html

The trophy began its regional visit with a stop in Portland on Thursday.

This is the second year the team’s 12 Tour has made a stop in Vancouver.
