Having watched The Columbian editorial board’s conversation with candidates for the 3rd District Congressional seat, I have a better understanding of each.
Bob Dingethal is clearly the best-informed. His volunteer work is commendable. He pointed out many inconsistencies by Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas.
Michael Delavar is the true Republican: end Obamacare, oil/coal terminals = good, and gun control = bad.
Herrera Beutler was full of talking points, saying Russia wants to come after the U.S. on our soil; that we should ship American-produced natural gas to the Ukraine (our prices would be higher).
