• The county commissioners seek to fill a position on the Public Facilities District board of directors for a term ending Dec. 31. They are looking for applicants with experience in the tourism industry, marketing, hotels and convention centers, facility operations and finance, economic development and general knowledge about Clark County.
Board members are paid $50 per day while attending meetings. Regular board meetings are at 4 p.m. the first Monday of February, May, August and November at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.
