Senior Babe Ruth tourney down to final four

Semifinals, final to be played Saturday at Clark College

The final four of the Senior Babe Ruth Pacific Northwest Regional baseball tournament is set for Saturday at Clark College’s Kindsfather Field as pool play finished Friday.

Crater Lake of Klamath Falls, Ore. (4-0) will play Wilder Baseball (3-1) of Port Angeles at 9:30 a.m.

Calgary Blues (4-0) will play Lakeside Recovery (3-1) of Issaquah at 12:15 p.m.

The winners then face off at 5 p.m. for the title and a berth to the Senior Babe Ruth World Series (for ages 16-18) in Ephrata.

Prior to the championship, there will be a five-inning all-star game at 3 p.m. with players from the eight other teams in the regional. Former major league pitcher Randy Myers will be one coach and Clark College assistant coach Rip Ramsey will be the other coach.

The Clark County representatives at the regional were KWRL, Centerfield Baseball and Granite Construction.
