A Battle Ground man sustained injuries in a motorcycle crash on state Highway 503 Saturday night when his bike left the roadway.

The single-vehicle crash occurred at about 10:10 p.m., when the Washington State Patrol says Travis Lemarr, 37, was driving a 2007 black Kawasaki Ninja 1000 south on the highway, about 14 miles north of Battle Ground. The motorcycle traveled off the roadway to the right, striking a dirt embankment and coming to rest on the right shoulder, according to a WSP news release.

Lemarr was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. He was in satisfactory condition Sunday afternoon.

It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash, which troopers are investigating. Lemarr was wearing a helmet, according to the WSP.
