A Vancouver man was arrested after sending police on a short pursuit Monday night.

Police were called to 11300 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. for a disturbance with a weapon after Daniel L. Bull, 30, got into a verbal altercation with a male person at the residence and left with a weapon, later determined to be a BB gun, said Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp.

Bull sped away in a vehicle and police pursued him, but he crashed the car into a tree less than a block after turning north onto Northeast Chkalov Drive, Kapp said.

Bull was arrested for suspicion of attempting to elude and hit and run.
