Camas has named its successor to Josh Gibson in the school’s athletic department.
Rory Oster will be the school’s athletic director.Oster is leaving his post as the AD at Madras High School in Oregon, according to a release from the Camas School District.
Gibson announced his resignation in order to take another position at Camas High School earlier this spring.
“We’re excited about Rory joining our district and watching him build upon the success Josh Gibson enjoyed,” Mike Nerland, the district’s superintendent said in the release. “Rory is known and respected throughout the Northwest as an outstanding Athletic Director. He brings enormous energy and passion to this position, and I am confident the extra-curricular program in the Camas School District will continue to be one of excellence and opportunity for our students.”
