Langdon Roscoe’s stoppage-time goal on Sunday lifted Vancouver Victory FC to a 3-2 win over Seattle Stars FC at McKenzie Stadium.

The dramatic win in front of 270 fans lifted the Victory into second place in the Evergreen Premier League.

Roscoe, a Hockinson High School graduate, scored at the end of a corner kick in the 93rd minute. Jesse De Leon took the corner kick and Tyler Webster headed the ball down in front of goal for Roscoe to finish.

Davis Strawn and Jordan Jones also scored for the Victory, who led 2-0 before being forced to play with 10 men from the 77th minute when Jamoy Stevens received a second yellow

card.

Seattle scored goals in the 82nd and 87th minutes to pull even, the second on a remarkable bicycle strike from distance by Ramon Ramos.

Vancouver is 6-3 with five league matches remaining, and improved to 5-0 at home. The Victory travels to Yakima United on Saturday for a 6 p.m. match
