Volunteers will gather this weekend to renew their search for Kyron Horman, a Portland boy who went missing four years ago this month. Kyron would now be 11 years old.
The then-seven-year-old was last seen at Skyline Elementary June 4, 2010. His stepmother, Terri Moulton Horman was reportedly the last to see him, as she was in charge of dropping the boy off at school the day he disappeared. When the initial search was unsuccessful, police changed the search into a criminal investigation. However, despite massive search efforts, no leads have emerged.
KGW reports that law enforcement hasn’t been involved with the searches since last August when they scoured the area around Northwest Germantown Road and Northwest Skyline Boulevard.
A GoFundMe campaign has also raised about $22,000 to put toward search efforts. Search volunteers are encouraged to sign up through the same website.
