Hudson’s Bay — Fort Vancouver National Trust’s Pearson Field Education Center won the NW Spirit of Aviation Airport Award in February from the Washington Aviation Association, an honor heralding those who show “extraordinary passion and commitment to the aviation industry.” The award was given at the association’s annual banquet. “It is a great privilege and honor to have the efforts of our volunteers recognized for their excellence in aviation education,” Director of Aviation Education Programs Laureano Mier said in a press release.
