Iowa State students teased Oklahoma State’s Marcus Smart on Saturday by doing a “mass flop” in the stands at Hilton Coliseum when the Cowboys’ star was introduced by the public address announcer before the game.

The stunt was organized by Iowa State junior Michael Harris and fliers with instructions for fans were handed out to those in the student section before the game. Harris says he was inspired by Smart’s “infamous” reputation around the Big 12 for trying to draw fouls by flopping.

The Cyclones wound up erasing a 16-point deficit to beat the Cowboys, 85-81, in overtime. Smart had 27 points to lead Oklahoma State, but fouled out in regulation.

Hockinson native Lindsay Aho has survived two shows of Big Break Florida, The Golf Channel’s reality competition series.

Aho, 26, is among 12 contestants competing for $65,000, full status on the Symetra Tour, which is one step below the LPGA, and entry into one LPGA Tour event.

She survived a three-hole elimination challenge at Amelia Island, Fla., in Episode 2 to stay in the competition.

Aho, a two-time all-American at Concordia, is entering her second year as a pro golfer on the Cactus Tour, an Arizona-based mini tour.

New episodes of Big Break Florida air on Mondays at 6 p.m. on The Golf Channel. Repeats are shown frequently.
