The body of a woman was found in a bathroom at the Westfield Vancouver mall early this morning, according to Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp.
A Macy’s employee discovered the woman’s body inside the store’s women’s restroom and called 911 shortly after 6 a.m., sending emergency responders to the mall, 8208 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive.
The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the woman as 61-year-old Lyudmila I. Tikhomirova, of Vancouver.
“It appears that she had died and was in there overnight,” Kapp said. She said that patrol officers reported no obvious signs of foul play.
The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of death.
