CREDC luncheon will focus on education, partnerships

The Columbia River Economic Development Council will address the topic “State of Education: Partnering for Success” at its first-quarter luncheon, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 25.

Featured panelists are Mel Netzhammer, chancellor at Washington State University Vancouver; Kevin Kussman, associate vice president of corporate and continuing education at Clark College; Steven Webb, superintendent of Vancouver Public Schools; John Deeder, superintendent of Evergreen Public Schools; and Ben Bagherpour, vice president of operations, SEH America, Inc.

The program is designed to offer an audience dialogue with the panelists on current education programs, as well as a discussion of the role of partnerships and opportunities for collaboration with business and community leaders.

Specific questions can be submitted to the panel in advance. Suggestions for questions can be sent to the CREDC’s Kimberly Pincheira at kpincheira@credc.org by March 21.

The luncheon will be at Heathman Lodge, 7801 N.E. Greenwood Drive. Cost, including lunch, is $40 before March 17 and $45 after that date. Registration is available at credc.org.
