No new information has emerged from the investigation into a Vancouver woman who went missing over the weekend.

Skamania County deputies found Daphne C. Alexander Christ’s black Suzuki station wagon in the Beacon Rock State Park parking lot in the Gorge. After combing the area Sunday and Monday, investigators with Skamania and Clark counties suspended the search.

Skamania County Undersheriff Dave Cox said deputies checked the Columbia River by boat Thursday but did not turn up any sign of the woman. Sgt. Fred Neiman, spokesman for the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, said the Major Crimes Unit is going through the standard process they use when people go missing, which includes reviewing bank activity. Neither agency has gotten any substantial tips.

Anyone with information about her possible whereabouts is asked to call the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office at 509-427-9490 or the Clark County Sheriff’s Office at 360-397-2303.
