A Ridgefield woman died in a single-vehicle crash late Friday night.

Ridgefield police officers were called to a crash in the 500 block of South 45th Avenue about 11:30 p.m.

A 2012 Honda van that was traveling north left the roadway and rolled several times into a grassy field, according to Lt. Roy Rhine. The driver and only occupant, Jenee D. Phillips, 34, was ejected from the van and died at the scene, Rhine said.

Alcohol appears to have been a factor in the crash, Rhine said, but he said the rainy weather may have also contributed.

The crash is under investigation by the Ridgefield Police Department, with assistance from the traffic detectives at the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
