Pageant raises money for epileptic boy

Battle Ground — Battle Ground students strutted their stuff for a good cause last month during the annual Mr. Battle Ground Pageant.

Proceeds from the fashion show fundraiser went to the Sparrow Club USA organization to help John Hopper, an 11-year-old boy with severe epilepsy who was in attendance.

The 10 contestants donned clothes of all sorts and even showed off their talents.Justin Smalley won People’s Choice and Kaleb Armstrong was named Mr. Battle Ground. The Battle Ground High School’s Associated Student Body put on the ninth-annual event. It was directed by student Taylor Beardall.
