For the sixth consecutive year, a team from CrossFit Fort Vancouver has qualified for the CrossFit Games, an international fitness competition that takes place in July in Southern California.

CrossFit Fort Vancouver finished second in the team competition at the CrossFit Northwest Regional, which was held May 16-18 at ShoWare Center in Kent. CrossFit Marysville won the regional team championship.

Four members of the CrossFit Fort Vancouver team — including all three women — are returnees from the team that finished fourth at the 2013 CrossFit Games. Jessica Core of Vancouver and Portland residents Andrea Roozen and Erin Taylor return from last season, as does CrossFit Fort Vancouver owner Adam Neiffer.

Two new men on the team are Vancouver residents Bryan Weed and Allan Dunlap.

Nathan Loren of Washougal and Jerome Perryman of Portland both qualified individually to compete in masters divisions at the CrossFit Games. Loren and Perryman were members of the CrossFit Fort Vancouver team last season.

The CrossFit Games begin July 25 at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.
