A grant from Wells Fargo will be used to provide about 100 X-rays and ultrasound tests at the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington.
The $5,000 grant will go toward the Free Clinic’s annual radiology budget of $28,000. X-ray and ultrasound results are read by community radiologists who partner with the Free Clinic to provide patient care.
The most common X-rays ordered for Free Clinic patients are of the chest, spine, ankle, foot, shoulder, hip, knee, finger, wrist and pelvis.
The Free Clinic provides free, walk-in urgent care to uninsured children and adults in Clark County and dental care by appointment, as well as immunizations, health screenings and vision care.
Wells Fargo is a regular contributor to the Free Clinic.
