Nautilus said Tuesday it’s linking some of its fitness machines to the Apple Healthkit app to enable people to track workout data, including calories burned and distance covered.

The Vancouver-based manufacturer of fitness equipment said the Apple Health app will be integrated with its Bowflex Max Trainer and, eventually, with the company’s 616 cardio product line.

Nautilus also plans to mesh new digital health and fitness platforms with all of its fitness machines that include the use of Bluetooth Smart devices.
