Restore sense and logic all around
When reading Editor Lou Brancaccio’s Nov. 8 column, “There’s still a ways to go for us,” on the merits of the new county charter, he states how the new “charter will dramatically weaken (two Republicans) their authority” by adding two more voices to the commission. He says “these characters have run roughshod over us, ignoring logic and good sense.”
As the old saying goes, what is good for the goose, is good for the gander. How about The Columbian add two more voices to its editorial board? This would (hopefully) dramatically weaken the characters who have run roughshod over us, ignoring good sense and logic, in their constant and incessant haranguing of a few elected officials in our county.
