The Port of Camas-Washougal said Thursday the only number needed to report an emergency to the port will be the main line: 360-835-2196. In its November newsletter, the port said its staff will answer calls during business hours.
After hours, a representative of Sonitrol, a security firm, will take the call and relay information to the appropriate response agency. If appropriate, the port said, callers should always dial 911 first.
