Clark County Turkey Trot, registration closes at midnight Nov. 21; race starts 9 a.m. Nov. 27. Start Thanksgiving with a family-friendly 5K run/walk or a 10K run along the Salmon Creek Trail. Participants can also register for the Polar Bear Plunge into Klineline Pond. All proceeds benefit the Clark County Food Bank. Participation is capped at 1,200. The 22nd annual holiday light show returns to light up the racetrack with 250 lighted displays and animated scenes. Special event nights include the Winter Wonderland of Lights Run and Walk Race Nov. 29; $40 to $45, $20 for youth, $5 for Lil Elves Parade.
