Who’s stupid now? I will never call names, but if you are not aware of all the Republican ideas for repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act, whose fault is that?
In the last line of the Nov. 14 editorial “Obamacare obfuscation: Republicans continue to attack health law, but offer no alternative solutions,” you blindly parroted President Obama health care talking points, spreading the ongoing propaganda that Obama’s “plan” is the only idea ever presented. If you would like to sneak a toe out of the tent to find out if there is a camel there, take a look at this website: http://rsc.woodall.house.gov/solutions/rsc-betterway.htm. Or, you may need a list of the ideas Republicans have proposed: http://www.forbes.com/sites/theapothecary/2013/08/28/seriously-the-republicans-have-no-health-plan/2/.
My editorial on The Columbian’s editorial: There are many ways to tell lies: http://www.wikihow.com/Lie. You have chosen to lie by omission, assuming that the newspaper’s readership is too stupid to look up information on their own. Sound familiar? Last week, MIT professor Jonathan Gruber exposed the large lie that was used in selling Obamacare. Choosing to tell readers that Obama and his Democrats have the only health care ideas is just more of the same from the media. I challenge you to be different and better.
