World Aids Day celebrated Dec. 1

Martha’s Pantry, Clark County’s only food bank dedicated to people living with HIV/AIDS, will join with the Unitarian Universalist Church of Vancouver to commemorate World Aids Day.

From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Dec. 1, the church will host a ceremony of remembrance where guests will be able to ring a bell and speak the names of loved ones who have died of AIDS. There will also be harp music and local speakers, according to organizer Michele Kruchoski.
