Letter: County’s crown jewels stand out

The Columbian
Published: November 23, 2014, 12:00am

There are three people who we are so fortunate to have in our community. I just wanted to add a special recognition to the good article that was in The Columbian on Nov. 17, “Gypsy Spirit at the Kiggins Chamber Series’ second event features Romani music.”

Michael Liu, pianist, has taken the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s chamber music to astonishing levels. Thomas Hwang, violin and viola, makes magic happen with both instruments. Dan Wyatt, who opens the Kiggins Theatre to the arts, as well as movies, deserves a mighty applause.

If you have not attended a Vancouver Symphony Orchestra Chamber concert, you are missing a great experience right here in Clark County. There is no reason at all to cross the bridge if you enjoy chamber music.
