ISSAQUAH — The Washington State Patrol says a bear cub that was hit by a car on westbound Interstate 90 in Issaquah has died of its injuries.
The crash temporarily blocked two lanes Tuesday.
The cub survived the initial crash and was placed in the back seat of a trooper’s patrol car to await the arrival of a wildlife officer.
The patrol later announced the cub did not survive.
Issaquah is about 15 miles east of Seattle.
