A Vancouver woman was arrested for allegedly shooting a gun in the direction of her adult nephew early Wednesday morning. No one was injured.
Vancouver police responded to 2115 Carlson Road, in the Meadow Homes neighborhood after receiving multiple 911 calls made minutes after 2 a.m.
Callers reported that their aunt, who was intoxicated, had made verbal threats and fired one round in the direction of her 57-year-old nephew, Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said. The bullet did not hit the man, Kapp said.
When officers arrived, Maxine Fowlkes, 74, came outside unarmed and met them, Kapp said.
Fowlkes was taken into custody without incident and booked in the Clark County Jail on suspicion of first-degree domestic violence assault and felony domestic violence harassment.
