Columbia River Economic Development Council representatives attended the JEC Asia Composites Show and Conferences in Singapore Nov. 17 to 19 as part of CREDC’s effort “to support the growing composites industry in Clark County,” the public-private organization said in a news release.
The international exhibition brings together all major players in the global composites industry supply chain, CREDC said. Clark county companies increasingly rely on composites for their products, including aerospace, marine, defense, and recreational sports products, the organization added.
While in Singapore, CREDC President Mike Bomar and other delegates participated in nearly a dozen one-on-one business meetings, attended seminars, toured a composites company, and networked with more than 100 participating global companies and agencies, CREDC said.
