Published:

OLYMPIA — Nominations are being accepted through Dec. 31 for membership on the state’s Inland Fish Policy Advisory Group.

The Department of Fish and Wildlife will choose up to 15 individuals to serve for 2015 and 2016. The advisers will providence guidance to the agency on species such as trout, bass, panfish and kokanee.

The group meets about three times a year. Advisers also are asked to comment on written materials periodically.

Any group or individual can submit a nomination, and self-nominations are accepted.

Nominations need to include the nominee’s name, address, telephone number and group affiliation, if any. If the nominee is representing a group, a letter of support from the group is needed.

Nominations also need to include relevant experience, references and species or areas of interest.

Nominations should be submitted to Bruce Bolding, WDFW Fish Management Division, 600 Capitol Way N., Olympia, 98501. Nominations may be emailed to Bolding at bruce.bolding@dfw.wa.gov.

For more information, call Bolding at 360-902-8417.
