TACOMA — Bass Pro Shops will open an Outdoor World store in Tacoma on Oct. 22.

The 142,000-square-foot store will be at 7905 S. Hosmer St. It will include Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl and Grill, which includes a 16-lane bowling alley.

The store will have a 12,000-gallon freshwater aquarium along with a three-dimensional diorama of a waterfall. The aquarium will be stocked with bass, crappie, yellow perch, muskellunge, rainbow trout, brook trout, walleye and channel catfish.

Museum-quality mounts of wildlife native to Washington will be displayed throughout the store.

A full range of boats from Tracker Marine will be sold, plus there will be a boat service center with three bays. The store will employ 200 to 250 workers.
