4A GSHL football: Union 55, Evergreen 6

Caleb Browning rushed for 185 yards and five touchdowns as the Titans rolled past Evergreen on Homecoming Night for the Plainsmen.

Union controlled the ball in the first half, but mistakes kept the Titans from pulling away.

After recovering a fumble, Evergreen drove 79 yards on eight plays, the last one being a spectacular one-handed grab by Billy Nelson for a 16-yard touchdown reception that drew the Plainsmen within 20-6 at halftime.

Then the Titans took over in the third quarter with Browning and Jack Bauer scoring two TDs each.

Bauer finished with 110 yards rushing on 12 carries. Browning also had an interception on defense.

The Titans intercepted three passes and recovered a fumble.
