• Hall Mediation Services has added Peter Barbara, 17, to its staff as teen mediator. He will partner with an adult mediator to provide communication training and mediation services for parents and teenagers. Barbara is currently enrolled in the Clark College Running Start program as a high school junior.

• Dennis Rugg has been named executive director of the American Red Cross Southwest Washington Chapter. He will oversee day-to-day chapter business, volunteer engagement, community partnerships and fundraising in Pacific, Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania and Klickitat counties. He has been a member of the board of directors for the Southwest Washington chapter for nine years.

• Dean Robinson has joined PeaceHealth Laboratories as a strategic account executive to focus on promoting pain medication management testing in the Pacific Northwest. Robinson has a background in both pharma and biotech sales, with special emphasis in oncology/hematology, GI, infectious disease, diabetes and cardiology. He most recently worked as an independent consultant.

• PeaceHealth Medical Group Plastic Surgery has added plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Manish Champaneria to its team. Champaneria completed a fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery and is among a select few plastic surgeons with advanced microsurgical training in the Portland metro area.

• Kala Lyman has joined In Touch Counseling Services, a private mental health clinic, as a professional counselor. Lyman previously worked as a counselor in Alaska.

• James T. Hutchenson, manager of Peaceful Paws Pet Cremations & Memorials, attended the annual International Association of Pet Cemeteries and Crematories convention in Las Vegas in September. He earned certificates as a pet bereavement specialist, certified pet crematory Operator and in the Registered Pet Funeral Director Program.
