A Vancouver woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on state Highway 500.

Michelle L. Smith, 39, was driving a black 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe west on the highway when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a barrier and came to rest in the right lane facing north, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash was reported at 8:55 a.m. at Milepost 1 in Vancouver.

Smith was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, where she was treated and released. She was cited for making an improper lane change, according to the State Patrol.
