VAN MALL NEIGHBORHOOD: Kelly Kevin with Rood Investments has requested a rezone of 2.8 acres from R-22 to R-30. The site comprises of six tax lots between Northeast 81st Avenue and Northeast 82nd Avenue near the 5200 and 5300 blocks, and owned by Glenwood Place Senior Living LLC. WATERFRONT PARK AND TRAIL:
The Port of Camas-Washougal seeks approval to construct a 5.73-acre waterfront park along the Columbia River, from the existing Parker’s Landing Marina to just west of 714 S. A St. The proposed park will include restrooms, a picnic shelter, fishing pier, two parking facilities, a community event plaza and lawn area, water-access locations and a 12-foot-wide paved trail, 0.7 of a mile long. Comment deadline: Oct. 27.
