Letter: Veljacic judged superior

The Columbian
Published: October 9, 2014, 5:00pm

I’ve known Bernard Veljacic on both a professional and personal level. We worked together in the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, where Veljacic gained valuable experience on both criminal and civil sides. He represented the court in legal matters and then succeeded me on the Superior Court bench when I moved to the Court of Appeals.

Judge Veljacic possesses the knowledge, experience and temperament to fairly decide the vast array of cases he is assigned. His great legal ability, excellent work ethic and exceptional common sense ensure he will become an outstanding jurist. He listens to people and is not afraid to make difficult decisions.

Veljacic is highly regarded and committed to Clark County. He has broad community support.

I wholeheartedly and without reservation support Bernard Veljacic.
