Langsdorf Landing boat ramp along the Columbia River at Caterpillar Island will be closed for two weeks beginning Tuesday for renovation.

Chris Spangler, access manager for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, said the agency will replace the ramp and add a loading float.

Additional one-day closures in November are anticipated while contractors finish the parking lot and loading dock.

The agency got a grant for more than $700,000 in 2011 to renovate the ramp, which is very popular for spring and fall chinook salmon anglers.
